I remember enjoying it the first time, in fact it became the book I judged other books on.
It was honestly the first book I picked out myself and read cover to cover. It is a good read, but use it as a jumping off point into the genre This is my second time reading this book. While I enjoyed the book for nostalgic purposes, I feel the ending tapered off and I was left wanting more. The descriptions of surroundings and detective theme became my go to genre.
